Vaughn A. Foster Jr. has worked in mental health settings, including individual, family, and group therapy. He enjoys working with depression, anxiety, perfectionism, relationships, and religious trauma. Some communities Vaughn is committed to working with include artists, bi/multi-racial POC, and LGBTQIA+ people. Vaughn's clinical and research experience includes Narrative Therapy, Reality/Choice Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Vaughn's work has also included incorporating creative arts, such as music, writing, and visual art, to process and educate mental health concerns. He believes therapy is a unique, collaborative process to identify needs, goals, and best practices. Therapy is where we can bring our whole selves and learn how to make sense of ourselves and the world around us. Outside work, Vaughn loves music production and performance, writing, hiking, and spending time with his partner, their 2 cats, Nyx and Timon, and their axolotl, Ragnarok.
