Samantha Rivera, MSW, LICSW

Samantha Rivera is originally from the east coast but has called Minneapolis home since 2013. Rivera approaches her work and your decision to enter therapy with openness, respect, and curiosity. She'll work collaboratively with you in a reflective process to help you achieve your goals and connect with a sense of empowerment. Together you will identify your strengths, increase your insight, and develop skills to foster hope and positive change. Rivera works with many concerns, including depression, anxiety, perfectionism, relationship issues, existential/spiritual issues, shame, and identity development. She identifies as a Latinx, 1.5 gen, queer, cis woman who has a solid commitment to working with diverse and intersecting identities. Rivera works from an anti-oppression lens to create an affirming space for folks from diverse racial, ethnic, and spiritual identities.
