Chiara Mesia is originally from Peru but has called Minnesota her home since 2004. Spanish is her native language, and she also speaks English fluently. Chiara identifies as a cis, straight, immigrant, Latina, or Latinx woman of color. She enjoys working with people individually, offering empathy and support, promoting insight, and working collaboratively to achieve goals. Chiara has a strengths-based, person-centered, compassionate approach. She strives to understand people's experiences within their unique context while working together on developing new ways to cope, processing difficult experiences, and developing a greater sense of self-compassion and empowerment. Chiara also considers larger community and social issues and how they impact our experience.
