Michelle Krypel, MSW, LICSW

Before coming to Boynton Health Service Michelle worked with students at the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University. She believes college students have so much energy and interest in learning about themselves and she feels fortunate to be a part of their college experience. She works with a variety of mental health issues in individual and couples therapy. Her special interests in grief, mood disorders, stress management, and relationship concerns. Her approach to counseling emphasizes cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy. She selects different techniques depending on each student’s individual needs. She is committed to providing a safe and warm atmosphere where students can feel free to express their concerns and be themselves.
