Bio

Natalie E. Rivera is a fifth-year Counseling Psychology PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a pre-doctoral intern at Boynton Mental Health and Counseling. She is fluent in Spanish and English and holds the Esperanza Bilingual Psychological Services Certificate. Her person-centered therapeutic approach is guided by humanistic and radical healing principles and emphasizes trusting the strengths and cultural wisdom of clients and the communities they come from, while collaboratively exploring past and present experiences that inform healing and growth. Natalie has experience working with Latine/x/o and BIPOC communities, first-generation students, and multilingual individuals, while serving students of all identities. She specializes in supporting college students navigating identity- and culture-related concerns.
