Bio

Idil is a pre-doctoral intern at Boynton Mental Health & Counseling. She is a PhD candidate in Ball State University's Counseling Psychology program (APA-Accredited) and has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Idil is fluent in English and Turkish and offers therapy in both languages. Using a multicultural feminist approach, she focuses on emotions and resilience through trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming lenses. She has experience working with international, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, and neurodiverse students, while serving students of all identities. Additionally, she specializes in supporting people who are navigating adjustment and interpersonal concerns (romantic relationships, family dynamics, friendships). Through this multicultural feminist approach, Idil strives to meet clients where they are while supporting their growth toward where they want to be, creating a journey of discovery and healing grounded in trust, cultural awareness, and mutual respect.
