Bio
Jessica is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) who uses a strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy while incorporating aspects of Cognitive behavior theory (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), motivational interviewing, and polyvagal theory. Jessica has experience working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, relational issues, life transitions/stressors, issues related to past trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns.
Using an honest and direct approach, Jessica collaborates with individuals to develop therapeutic goals and strategies to meet those goals. This often includes challenging unhealthy thoughts processes and behaviors, developing awareness of body sensations and emotions, and integrating coping tools into daily life.
