Bio

Dr. Eve Sussman is a licensed psychologist specializing in college counseling. She enjoys and feels honored to support students at all stages of their educational journey. She works with clients from a strengths-based and anti-oppressive lens blending exploration, insight development, skill building, and self-compassion. She believes that we heal in relationships and prioritizes connection with clients to help them feel seen and understood. She understands how systems of oppression impact our mental health and cause trauma, and how our cultures and communities can be sources of healing and empowerment. Therapy can be hard and vulnerable, and she works to ease some of that discomfort by welcoming clients’ whole person with warmth and genuineness. She also loves to laugh and celebrate students’ successes and joys.
