Bio

Emily is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 15 years of clinical experience. Trained as a generalist, they work with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety and relationship issues. Emily specializes in the treatment of developmental trauma and draws on neurophysiology and somatic healing approaches to support meaningful, lasting change. 
 
Emily is formally trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brainspotting, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Their work is grounded in a whole-person approach and informed by attachment and family systems theory, with attention to how individuals adapt in response to their environments.
