Andrew T. Moe is a psychologist with training in psychodynamic, existential, and humanistic approaches to therapy, as well as motivational interviewing. He holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from the University of St. Thomas and is a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
Dr. Moe has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and incorporates a therapeutic assessment approach when conducting psychological assessments. His clinical work is informed by a belief that people are doing the best they can with the resources available to them. He works collaboratively with students to identify and build upon their strengths, increase insight, and develop new tools to help them navigate challenges and work toward their personal, academic, and emotional goals.
Dr. Moe’s approach emphasizes curiosity, compassion, and meaning-making, with attention to the relational and contextual factors that shape a person’s experiences. He serves individuals of all identities.
