Emily Kramer, LICSW

Before coming to Boynton Health, Emily Kramer completed a one-year fellowship in a primary care clinic through the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital. There, Emily worked with a multidisciplinary team and received intensive training in conducting eating disorder assessments, crisis management, and individual counseling for adolescents with mental health concerns. Her previous work includes counseling all ages in a community mental health center and providing vocational rehabilitation for adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Emily has also worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital for adolescents with acute psychiatric concerns. There, she led family meetings focused on psychoeducation and conducted brief counseling, case management, and group therapy. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, crisis management, life transitions and adjustments, and severe and persistent mental illness.
