I joined Boynton's Mental Health Clinic in Fall 2019, though I have long enjoyed working in college health with undergraduate, graduate and professional students of all stripes. Everyone should appreciate a sense of self-agency in their own healthcare, and I do my best to educate and empower students—a shared footing is generally the best approach.
I moved to Minnesota in 2018 from NYC after a tenure working at New York University's student health center. I've come to greatly appreciate the quality of life here, but can still empathize with those new to the area!
My clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, as well as trauma, compulsive behaviors and borderline personality disorder. While medication can play a helpful role in mental health treatment, it is only a part of a larger approach aimed towards healthy choice-making and personal growth.
