I grew up in the state of Wyoming, a state in which the cows outnumber the people. I completed my undergraduate studies at Lawrence University, where I played violin badly and studied biology. I went to medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine and stayed in Seattle for my residency. I moved to Minnesota with my family in 2015. I enjoy bubble tea, reading, scary movies and baking.
