About Me

I strive to join people on their journey with curiosity, compassion and kindness. My approach is non-judgmental, collaborative and responsive to individual needs, strengths and identities. My work is rooted in a systemic approach and is informed by social justice and anti-oppression frameworks. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, I hope to support people in identifying and exploring their values in order to live the life they want to live.

After working for almost 10 years in a variety of community mental health and social service settings in Minneapolis, Denver and Chicago, I returned to my home state of MN in early 2019. I am mixed Mexican and European American and have a strong commitment to going through my own personal identity-work as I support students in their cultural identity development.
