Nikki Malecek

She/her/Hers

Nikki is a mental health therapist who uses she/her/hers pronouns. Nikki received her Master’s degree in Integrative Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota and has specialized in SUD treatment with Women and their children. She practices a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and integrates these approaches to individualize care for clients. She believes healing is a brave and bold process requiring a safe, affirming space. Nikki recognizes that individuals encounter different experiences and issues which cause stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, anger, confusion, and other responses which impact the quality of their lives and relationships. Her goal is to create a safe and accepting space for individuals to discuss their struggles and specific problems, where individuals can feel their story matters and develop effective methods for coping with life’s challenges. Nikki recognizes that therapy is a collaborative process, and each individual has a unique set of needs and goals. She is passionate about helping others identify and integrate all pieces of themselves to feel more whole. She believes the therapeutic relationship will work not only to improve their current coping skills and life functioning but also to create a life of intention and meaning. Outside of work, Nikki enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, crafting or doing projects, trying new recipes, and traveling to new places.
