About Me

As a first generation immigrant, I enjoy working with a diverse population, particularly helping students with cultural adjustment and identity development. My education focused on providing culturally relevant strategies and interventions for therapy by paying particular attention to individual and group differences. I speak English, Georgian, and Russian. Prior to Boynton Health, I worked with college students in New York with academic, family, and relationship distress. I use a psychodynamic and strength-based approach to provide a safe environment for students to discuss their concerns. I have a special interest in working with trauma and crisis response. My goals are to decrease the stigma of seeking mental health therapy and work with students on developing insight and skills to cope with life stressors.
