I believe when given a safe and supportive place to explore our experiences and ourselves, we have the ability to gain awareness of our potential. As a therapist, I strive to encourage autonomy, advocacy and personal growth within the individuals that I have the opportunity to work with. I obtained my LADC in 2012, and have experience working in a variety of substance use treatment settings.
I obtained my Master’s in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota in 2015, which allows me to work with individuals who struggle with both mental health concerns and/or substance use concerns.
I am passionate in working within the LGBTQIA+ communities. I focus in on concerns with substance use, mental health, trauma, self-esteem and self-kindness. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and operate from an Existential/Humanistic therapeutic approach, to provide an environment conducive to progress toward your goals in therapy.
